In addition to making and designing I am also a qualified lecturer and have been teaching and making since 1998. I have taught all art and design subjects at all levels from workshops in primary schools, to developing teaching materials for post-grad students.

Please contact me if you would like to book a lecture or series of workshops, I offer workshops in: Ceramics (throwing/ handbuilding/ smokefiring/ Raku), mould making, plaster lathe work, textiles, drawing, painting, printing on clay, and I also give lectures on contemporary craft, setting up a business, dealing with galleries and exhibiting- which are geared at third year university students preparing to graduate.

I work as a consultant for International and National exam boards, reviewing and developing teaching and learning materials. For the last four years I have been involved in qualification development for the Creative and Media Diploma, Foundation Learning Tier, First Diploma, National Diploma and HND’s in a broad range of art and design subjects. I have recently finished working as part of a writing team on a student handbook for Art and Design National Diplomas that will be published by Pearsons in May.
